Asset Management with WinCC.

kris Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi all, Is there any Asset Management Software that works with WinCC? Basically the package should be capable of providing Predictive and Preventive Maintainance Schedules to the user. Also compatible with HART devices. Thanks Kris.

kris Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi Umencho, Thanks for the information. I have gone thru both the documents suggested by you. This package seems to be a maintainance tool for Siemens components only. It can automaticlly generate a status report on the health of Profibus components, CPU's, Power supplies etc. But it cannot show how many times a motor has bee started and stopped. Can the maintanance of turbines, motors, boilers etc. be scheduled with this package? Any further information? Thanks Kris

Manchat Posts: 33 Rating: (6)	DowntimeMonitor is an OEE calculation tool and not really aimed at planned maintenance. Maintenance Station can give asset data of non Siemens components using the AssetProxy function block supplied. I believe this can be used for hours run and number of operations with alarms set for planned maintenance. For true planned maintenance activities take a look at the WinCC Add-On package PM-Maint.
