 If i correcly understand your question you can can using event-incoming. When alarm come boolean_tag1 go hhigh (see attachment).

Which HMI, what type of alarm do you want to configure. Bla bla...else you wont get solution on your problem.

Any way,

 I think do you want to create discrete alarm via sibgle bit of PLC.

You can not connect boolean tag to discrete alarm directly to create alaram. You need to read the tag as word or byte as trigger tag and then assign the perticular bit from that tag to create alarm.

Hi.

The discrete alarms work as groups of 16 bits in a WORD.
