Assigning own user defined m codes

32995 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I have an application with an five axis machine that runs 840D, the machine is loaded with workpieces by a gantry through a roof-mounted door. There are two more doors through wich workpieces could be loaded. The roof mounted doorcan beopened by an m code, the two other doors openes by pressing a button on the machine panel. I would like to automate the opening of one of the other doors for workpiece loading. So, my question is: Can i assign one of the free m codes to open one ofthe other doors and how do i do it?
