I want to auto export my Alarm and Event History to CSV file daily.  I'm really bad at scripting,  Please kindly help me with this.

I got to work when I click the button.  But I couldn't get to work on Schedule Tasks.  Please see what I did wrong here.

put a gsc diagnostics window on your alarm screen, set the vbscript to run on a clock every 10s for example and maybe post what issue does the global script diagnostic produce. I ll try to run both your button event and script later.

edit i run your code the issue is with the active screen one solution that worked out for me assuming you still want to keep the alarm screen as a screen and not a screen window all but invisible everywhere is the following two scripts.What  i did was change momentarily the basescreen to another screen where i had the alarmcontrol (that's NewPdl0) and  i saved the screen name to an internal tag(testing) plus set a bit (testbit) that is the event trigger for the second script which just changes my active screen from the alarm screen to what it was plus resets the bit

I did this on wincc v7.5 so i think you have to change hmiruntime.tags to hmiruntime.smarttags maybe
