On a Sinumerik 840Dsl machine (NCU 710.2, software version 01.05+SP01+HF01, HMI Advanced V7.5 SP3), ONLY in AUTOMATIC mode, during a tool-change phase, when the X axis should be traversed in "+" direction, it don't moves. On the HMI advenced "Machine" area I see the "+" sign on the left of the "X" axis, I see the calculated distance-to-go, but the axis don't moves! On the upper left corner of the screen there is a clock icon on a yellow background, saying that the NC is waiting for something, but without other indications (please find attached a screenshot of this situation). In MDA mode the same part program, in the same conditions, works well! Only in AUTOMATIC mode it does not work! I've checked all the "enabling signal" I know (db3x.dbx1.6, dbx1.7, dbx2.1, dbx21.7), all the "feed stop" signals (db2.dbb144-145), all the "feed disable" ad "read-in disable" signals... I do not know what to check again! (I can't have direct access to the machine, I'm doing remote diagnosis by giving indications to the customer by phone and e-mail...) Have someone some ideas to help me, please? Any ideas would be appreciated ... Thanks a lot! AttachmentX_axis_wait_for_something.pdf (382 Downloads) |

Hi pfuser, sorry I don't understand... please find attached an extract of the "Lists" manual... Byte 8 of DB2 isn't "Read-in disable byte 3"? "Activate machine-related protection area" bits are in DB21.DBB8, not in DB2... Thank you. AttachmentDB2_from_Lists_manual.pdf (364 Downloads) |
