backup of a CPU protected by password

Yes, You can do it for sure.
As from your message and if i understand well, your customer don't want to access to your software. He wants only to have a backup of both hardware modules and also MMC. And he want you to download the software on the MMC.Thus because in case of deffected module, he will replace it by the healthy module even if the defected module is the MMC it self. It is ok. I do not think that he needs to access your software and modify in it. It's a good idea to protect your software using Know_how_protect option. But what if the customer needs the software for editing, modifing,...etc?
Huh.. you can give him a software without sympolic addresses, simply upload the software from the system and give it to him.
Thus if you want a fast solution, otherwise there's many techniques to protect your programs and more safe than "know_how_protect".

 i have the same problem. i have CPU protected by password and i want to take a backup ( non editing backup) to be in save side but i can't is there any method to take this back up?
