Dear Expertise

    We got on open controller S7-1515SP(F), and our requirement was restore project to PLC through webserver.

   In user manual, it said we need assign certificate to webserver, we do it follow the user maunul, but in 'user management' tab, we still can't assign restore or backup to specify user, the option box was gray and can not selected. 

 Anybody has any tips about this webserver function? I will upload screen shot in next reply.

Requirements

You access the CPU via the secure transmission protocol "HTTPS".

A valid CA-signed certificate is installed in the Web browser; see section Configuring the Web server (Page 19).

 I guess you need a certificate for it.

 Hi, 

      It seem I found the problem, if I disable Global security setting in CPU properties, both OPC UA and Web Server show 'Global security not enable, only limited function'.

     But if I enable 'Global security setting', the OPC UA panel show global security enabled' but web server panel still show global security setting not enabled, as image3 show,  I still confuse how to enable web server global security setting enabled.

I just doulbt, maybe this type of CPU didn't support this function, I just add a common S7-1515 PLC, and the 'backup&restore' option available in webserver panel
