Hello algudkar; This is a question that is both easy to answer (e,g. Profibus-DP goes up to 12 MB, uses master-slave daisy-chained RS-485 connection of up to 125 nodes...) and difficult to surmise, as the point of view you have (information, design, selection, implementation) will change the details of whatyou are looking for. Best have a look at a chart like this one, with much straightinformation on the networks you are asking about (and many other industrial networks), along with links to the organisations supporting each one, where you can do your own research: http://www.steinhoff.de/fb_comp.htm Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier Edit;` It seems Modbus RTU and Modbus/TCP are not included in the chart proposed. So look here: http://www.modbus.org/specs.php D.C. |
