Have you enquired to Baumer India about a sample program with Siemens S7, or about specific documentation on the ATD encoder for Profibus?

Manuals from Baumer seem difficult to locate on the web. I have found this Profibus manual for AMG absolute encoders, which might serve you as a guide for your project.
