Through setting CPU 414-4H MPI toDP,connection two series redundancy system ,this way is right? |

Hi Niezhanwen, I think it won't work this way because the MPI-communication couldn't be used in a H-System. [:(] So you have to use CP443-5DX04 Profibus cards with FDL communicationand communicate between the two systems or CP443-1EX11 to communicate between the two H-Systems. That meens two * two CP-cards of one of the before mentioned cards and then a redundant coupling between the four cards. [;)] So it is possible to make different networks, two totally devided networks between the two H-Systems or all 4 CP's on one network [:o] or all CP's on one network, this is then also of the needed redundancy. If this is not enough, you may place 2 CP's after one H-CPU, so that you have in total 8 CP's that are connected over two different networks that might be in a ring, thats real Fault Tolerant....
