Bigger Warnings

After transfering my project from a tp700 comfort to a ktp1200 basic i need to make all the atributes bigger the mejority i have been able to do my self but i need to make the warning  messages bigger.

Now for this there are two controls one is the window that displays the warnings and the other is the small indicator that pops up if something is wrong.

The window i can make bigger by choosing a certain modifiable window but if i choose a predetermined one(as seen in the attachment) it wont let me change the size of the letters and on this screen its too small so my first question is can you make the predetermined window bigger and are there more windows to choose from?

My seccond question is can you make the small pop up bigger and is there other styles avalible?

When you change the device from TP700 Comfort to TP1200 Basic panel, did you check the following:

-Go to Options -> Settings -> Visualization -> Resize screen

And here you select: Fit to screen.

After that you can change the device.

the alarm indicator doesn't have size properties in comfort panels, too.

Also, I can't find any VBS object type relating to it.

So I don't think you can change its size.

so you managed to get the alarm view itself to a good size, but the indicator is still too small.
Is this correct, or are there any more difficulties with the alarm view control?

Does the size of the indicator matter that much? The thing is blinking like mad once there are unacknowledged messages. Wouldn't you see it blinking even if it's kind of small? Once you open the alarm view the messages are as big as you want.

Well, anyway, I agree with you. One should be able to make it bigger.

How to make your own alarm indicator

• Take a button and connect it with a grapics list.
• Add the graphics of the alarm indicator to the list. (See "WinCC Graphics folder > Runtime control icons")
• Add "Animations > Visibility" to this button. For the visibility use a tag that you set to 1 each time there is any kind of error. To do this, get your different error tags, compare them to <>0 and combine them with an OR. You can add the system messages by using another OR, too.
• Toggle the graphics list in a 1Hz frequency. (You could, for example, read a tact indicator(?) 5 times in the HMI with an acquisition cycle of 100 ms, or similar.)
• Add "ShowAlarmWindow" to the events of the button (in toggle mode).
• Add the alarm window in the Global screen. Disable the tag in "Properties > Mode > Display automatically".

It's not my idea, I just thought that it fits into this thread quite well.
