Hi,

Today i am trying to use the faceplate with UDT tags.
so i followed the manual:
1ste    Create a new PLC DATA TYPE
2nd    Create some variables in the PLC DATA TYPE (bools, strings)
3th    drag and drop the the data type into the project library
4th     create a new faceplate
5th    add new property in the properties tab (faceplate editor)
6th     try to change the type in the data type from the project folder

the 6th step is not possible! it seems like it is not possible to have a link between the PLC and HMI

what am i missing?

is there a way around?

i have like 120 the same structures and something like a faceplate would helped me verry much! how can i achief the same then?

You should define the Tag type/structure directly in the Library to reflect the PLC data structure == manual emulation of using the PLC datatype.

Then you can use this new datatype on the Faceplate interface.

Please keep in mind that these kind of Tag structures can have only 1 level.
