Hi Pegaia, Thank-you for your reply. I created another FC called FC3 in STL and called it from FC2. I added a breakpoint to FC3, which when enabled caused the PLC to switch to HOLD at that point. The call hierarchy for the block was then displayed correctly. Before this, I had simply tried to put the PLC into STOP while monitoring the block. The note at the bottom of this section of the online helpled me to think that this would cause the call hierarchy to be displayed. I now understand what needs to be done for the call hierarchy to be displayed in an STL or SCL block, which is to use a breakpoint. But what about a block created in LAD or FBD? How would the call hierarchy of such a block be displayed? Is it possible to stop program execution at a certain point in a LAD or FBD block? Jason |
