Hello Hugo; These "Block"parameter types are available in TIA Portal, but can only be used with S7-300 CPUs, not S7-1200. What CPU are you trying to program? See the attached document, taken from this manual: STEP 7 Basic V11.0 SP2 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hi! I am working with a S7-1200. I am trying to adapt a program that was made for a S7-400. Thanks!

If you have s7-200 software, microwin, you can paste this into a STL block, then switch it to FBD or LAD and see if it makes more sense. That's the *easy* way. The other way is to refer to the STL programming reference material: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?query=stl+programming+reference&func=cslib.cssearch&content=adsearch%2Fadsearch.aspx%3Ftab%3D2&lang=en&siteid=csius&objaction=cssearch&searchinprim=_searchinprim_&nodeid=99&x=16&y=8&cssearchengine=NEW&x=0&y=0 |
