Avinashkrishna Posts: 62 Rating: (4)	Dear AZR, Please check the Plant hirerarchy sittings,derive block_icon,creat&updateblock icon setting. increat&update block icon setting change the lower hirererchy setting as per the project hirerachy level. Niranjan Prasad Posts: 691 Rating: (37)	Dear a.z.r Can you please check the Block Properties Settings of the Block called in the CFC. Check the OCM Possible and Create Block Icon Options in the Block Properties.At the WinCC end, Open the @PCS7_Typicals.Pdl in the Graphics Designer and check the Block Icon Number of the desired Block Icon. Make the Create Block Icon Number to 1 in the Chart and then compile the OS . Check whether the Block Icons are created are not Also upload the Block Properties Screen shot Attachment Check.jpg (306 Downloads)

vikkipro Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hi, First u have to check Block icon name in @PCS7_Typicals Screen and the Actual motor name is same. I mean Check the server control name in block icon. 2. Maybe U r calling block in different chart but the picture placed in different chart group even if u r selected create block icon option. 3. Ensure that u r doing compile and download the project in OS Server Application in ES PC. 4. And also assure the display property of block icon is yes.

I use PCS7 V8 . I installed PCS7LIRARY_V7.1+SP3 and PCS7FACEPLATE_V7.1+SP3 from additional _products Many regards

I installed PCS7LIRARY_V7.1+SP3 and PCS7FACEPLATE_V7.1+SP3 from additional _products Many regards Hello, As far as I know core of design in PCS 7 is Plant View.You define your plant hierarchy and in a level insert a CFC and a picture.All block icons related to ocm possible functions will be transferred to the corresponding picture.In this manner, if you name the picture meaningful, you can check it lately in WINCC graphic designer or even in the Plant View itself. I do the procedure with another PC (PCS7 V7.1) and the result is OK . there must be a problem in libraries and faceplates .I instaled PCS7LIBRAEY 7.1 sepretary and DIG_MON is chosen from PCS7 v7.1 but I don't know the exact problem Wish the best for king of Automation Mo.Sa Attachment Desktop.zip (263 Downloads)

hdhosseini Diamond Member Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 12/12/2024 Posts: 6858 Rating: (1365)	Hello again, There are some points to be checked before conclusion of bad installlation in your case: List of installed softwares that is possible via Help in SIMATIC Manager. Step by Step snapshots of your procedure to find out any missing point. Now, to checked the components inside the OS,Open it from SIMATIC Manager.In list of pictures search for "@@PCS7Typicals.pdl" and check if the block icon of DIG_MON is existing in database .See the attached file. Now check for component of faceplate related to this function.Search for "@PG_DIG_MON_STANDARD.pdl" and others that are available. For conclusion, if all these components exist in your OS project you have done something wrong in procedure.If you don't have these comments, you have a bad installation. These are point I can suggest based on logic and working with the same software.If you installed the older library,try again make a new project with the same system and test with the older DIG_MON and update here.While compiling,also check the older library in list of compilation. I like your attached file, but I prefer to be a soldier as the Chess rules applies, a good working soldier is a potential to be promoted to a higher rank piece.
