Blockmov and indirect adressing

Jeebs Posts: 218 Rating: (28)	Dear experts, Hope this is the correct place to ask the question. As the title states I 'need' to use the Blokmov instruction with indirect adressing. Something like: L MW 200 T "DBnr" L MW 202 T "DBWnr" L MW 204 T "DB2nr" L MW 206 T "DBW2nr" CALL "BLKMOV" SRCBLK:= P# DB[DBnr].DBW[DBWnr].byte 20 RET_VAL:=LW0 DSTBLK:= P# DB[DB2nr].DBW[DBW2nr].byte 20 That's basically what it should do, but I have no idea how to make it work. [:blush:] Upon selcting a product we take one part of the DB to work with, when selecting the next product we want to store the part we worked with for next use and take the part for the new product. If any of you could point me in the correct direction? Thnx for reading this far, Jeebs

In the help of STEP7 are the ANY-pointers described very well, so you have to fill the ANY-pointer by yourself, it is not difficult, but you have to understand what you are doing...... To read in this source, please go to your source-container in the program container and push the right mousekey and insertthe STL source {first unpack the STL from the ZIP}. When you import the block then first give ablocknumber to the FC"CopyDBxx" in the symbolik editor. "BLKMOV" have to be recognized automatically when you then double click on the source and compile the block. Attachment CopyData.zip (203 Downloads)
