BOP-2 shows "CU BUSY"

mayank_254 Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, I have a Sinamics G120 Cu240E-2 and BOP-2 mounted on it. Now when i power on the module, the BOP-2 shows the message "CU Busy" and the message does not goes away. i cannot access any parameters because of this. There is no electrical connection to PM240 as of now as i was trying just to access the parameters. Also, do we need to install any driver for USB Starter Kit for going online through Starter?

This means that the inverter is currently processing a higher-priority task. e.g.: When quick commissioning is being completed, the message "bUSY" is displayed on the BOP. This means that the system is in the process of calculating the control data and saving the parameter values in the EEPROM.

mayank_254 Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Dear Jens S, No thats not the case in here, at the start up only when i give the CU 24V supply, the BOP-2 shows the message "CU Busy". this message display doesnot changes and because of this only i am not able to access any parameters also. i hope i have myself clear on my doubt here.

sparten Posts: 205 Rating: (11)	Hey karthik411 and mayank_254 this is hardware problem of BOP-2 ...i have also face same problem in 2-3 BOP-2.....luckly all of my bop-2 were in warranty period som i had change them and directly sent them to siemense for replacement... most ofmy doubte about SINAMICs are not answered by sinamics exports..........i think still SIEMENSe is not sure abouttheir new products(from last two or more year).... hey dude just replace your Cu and BOP-2.......
