Broken glass in TP270

Hello everyone

 i have a broken glass in a TP270 TOUCH -10" which was in a functional machine . Needless to say this is my first time i am touching these panels ,  but due to the economics of my company we have decided to replace the display and the exterior glass ourselves. The replacement of the display went perfectly and we can checked the program working perfectly using the mouse. So far so good..

Then the exterior glass came with the protection film. I have cleared every glass from the borders and placed the new glass at the same position (i think on the same side).But the monitor doesnt respond to my touch . I have 3 questions :

a) the exterior glass  is the touching screen that needs calibrations?

b)is there a "right side to be placed" for the glass ontop of the aluminium flame of the TP270?

c)do i need to remove the film which is in both sides of the glass? 

i hope i can hear some good news from people that have done this again

did you recalibrate the screen?

 Go to OP Properties then "Recalibrate"

I havent yet since i could only use the mouse as it seams.. i will check early in the morning . I though that since i could only use the plug-in mouse , there was no point of trying to calibrate it . i will try it early in the morning .. thanks for now.. will keep posting  the result afterwards

FINISHED!!!! i have completed this task by doing the all time classic : i did everything from the beginning! and as i figured the problem was from my side , when i replaced the glass i placed it  upside down which means  its wire was also in the other way so the isolation side of the wire was attaching the on-board plug..... so there was no connectivity between the board and the resistive touch panel. So the "human" was wrong once more...
