Hi, I noticed a strange bug when converting 10.5 project to Tia Portal v11. I have Tia portal v11 with WinCC Comfort license. Project is made with Step 7 Basic v10.5. Project contains one PLC and one HMI (KTP600 PN). Conversion went well and compile did not produce any errors. Strange thing is when I try to open HMI screen there is error about WinCC license. Error message says that No valid WinCC Advanced license found. Why would it want WinCC Advanced license when HMI project is created with WinCC Basic? To be able to edit project I have to go to HMI Device configuration and change device type to some other panel and after that back to original panel type (for example KTP600 Basic PN -> KTP600 Basic PN Portrait -> KTP600 Basic PN). After this editing is possible. This error appears only when converting v10.5 projects. When migrating S7 300 projects there are no license errors. Error is easily reproducible. You only need to create 10.5 project with one PLC and any basic HMI and open that with v11 and try to edit root screen. I have attached a sample v10.5 project which will produce license error when opened with TIA Portal V11 with WinCC Comfort license. Has anyone else noticed similar behaviour or is this quirk only in my system? Risto AttachmentTesti.zip (689 Downloads) |
