burn S5 EPROM using PG

ahmedmae94 Posts: 103 Rating: (11)	how are you all member in the forum , first I want to thank UMENCHO , dchartier, WIZARD for their replies in the forum . I have S5 serive in cement plant in very far away state , I finished modification in S5 software in my office . my client has PG & EPROM my problem is , I don't know what is the setting that I should adjust in the software & HW driver??? & what is the common problems that may be face me? because this is first time to deal with S5 !!! in the attachment you will find pictures of screen that I guess it has important role in the problem. Because you are using a Siemens PG, you have Internal Eprommer. Prognumber is depending on used Eprom Be sure Eprom is empty If not you will have to erase it with UV light. Best regards, Wizard

ahmedmae94 Posts: 103 Rating: (11)	thanks for your interest UMENCHO I will use PG , the type of PG -> SIMATIC PG M (6ES7-7121BD-1010-0AG3) the software of S5 has V1.0 the type of EPROM is SIMATIC S5-6ES5-375-.. you will find the picture of software in the attachment of the first message thanks

In Control panel, you have Memory Card Parameter assignment, here you can also select internal. Then you can use Step 5 to read (to see info about Eprom)or write Eprom. (Prognumber, can be found in list, depends on exact Eprom number) You do not need S5Eprom. Best regards, Wizard
