Butten events

I have some questions regarding button events that I hope someone can help me with:

What is the difference between the events: Click, press, release, activate, deactivate and change? Is there some document where these events are described? I tried to search through the "WinCC Professional V11.0 SP2 System Manual" but could not find anything.

Also where are the actions that can be selected for each event described?

Could somebody explain clearly about  "Change" 

 When the status changes, an action can be done.

So then what is the difference between  "change" and  ( "click" "press" "release") ?

Let us take a button.

As known the button only has 2 statuses : "Pressed" or "not pressed"

Everything of ( "click" "press" "release") changes the status of a button, for example.

Wow, I got it !

If you have configured the button with "Change" event  - function "Invert Bit", then in Runtime :

- first time the action "Invert Bit" works after you have PRESSed the button

- second time the action "Invert Bit" works after you have RELEASed the button

So, in this case, the action "Invert Bit" works TWICE. 

I think it will save a too much energy of operator when he test a horn for example. 

He don't need to push the "Horn test" button twice.

He just put it for 2 second, the horn rings, then operator releases the button, horn stops ringing. 

Otherwise the operator needs to push the button twice !!!

Alex3110, simpler way to "test the horn" is to program under the event Press a SetBitWhileKeyPressed and assign the tag that is connected to the horn.

The horn is on only as long as you press the button
