Button does not perform "release" event

I'm currently working with an old version of KTP600.

I also quite often run into problem that after a "press" event (setBit) the button stays turned on and does not perform "release" event (resetBit).

I tried using "SetBitWhileKeyPressed", but same problem occurs: the bit in tag remains set no matter that the button is released.

However, after a second (or third or.... ) press of the button the KTP600 manages to detect that the button is not pressed anymore (and resets the bit).

Does anyone have any idea of how to solve this issue?

The way I use buttons on the HMI assumes I do not get the button released in most cases.  Instead, I use the button pressed to set a bit, and in the PLC logic, use that bit to take action, and then to use the -(R)- on that bit to reset it.  In this way, I know for certain the state of the button.

If I need something to happen while the button is pressed and stop when it is released, I use two actions on the button.  One for set bit on press, and reset bit on release.

For me in TIA v15 the SetBitWhileKeyPressed function was not working as it should have worked, the bit remained set after release (memory bit).

When I used Set function on the Click event and Reset function on the Release event, it works.
