Yes, RT and RT Simulation are different - not at all, otherwise a 'simulation' would be rather senseless -but there are differences indeed.

I have the same problem with TIA Portal v.13, the button Start RT on PC is disabled, and the license I have is WinCC Comfort v.13.0. I ask my provider and he told me that this is a Basic one, not Professional, but tell me is better to ask here.

On the other hand, I have a next question, simulation on TIA Portal is Offline? or it is just the same problem related with the basic license I have? Cause, I can "simulate" my job, but offline, no tags. If not, please tell me, I will be very gratefull!!!
