BW500 Reading

ardes Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	We have beltscale system with BW500 integrator, 2MSI idler (2 load cell each, 250lb 2mV/V), and MD256 which installed on conveyor with idler space is 1.5m. Load cell A, B,C, and D is 7.7mV, 8.1mV, 7.7mV, and 7.6mV respectively when conveyor stop. Is it OK? Rate capacity is set to 500t/h. Is it affecting the reading? Test weight is 4Nos 8.2kg. What is the test load value? Regards, Ardes Hello, Welcome to Forum To tell you that the selection is correct or not, first fill in the attached questionaire. Then we can tell you also the comissioning parameters of BW500 and test weight as well. Regarding to the values provided of mV for load cells, I think you have to make balancing for the loadcells using BW500. Please read this tip. Balancing Belt sclaes with BW500 Hope this helps. SonicRanger Posts: 151 Rating: (8)	Hi ardes, I would say your load cell values are excellent. You can try if it's possible to decrease the value of loadcell B a little by cleaning, or by loosening the dynamic beam and tighten it again, maybe there is some tension on the bolts. I think for a good calibration, you need more test weights. My questions are: -what is your belt speed? - what is the increase in mV on the loadcells when you apply the test weights? You should have enhough test weights to have an increase of 2 mV for a span calibration, or better, enough test weights to represent 60%-80% of your design rate!
