Bypassing of spindle axis 840Di

PISCEAN 2010 Diamond Expert Joined: 4/23/2010 Last visit: 11/23/2024 Posts: 8092 Rating: (880)	Hello Experts, HBM machine with 6 axes 840Di controller. Main spindle is under repairs because of mechanical problem. We would like to carry out servicing of Y axis scal & as such needs to move Y axis. Is it possible to bypass spindle axis & run the machine? If yes, which parameters needs to be modify? Thanks in advance. DEEP.
