There's no need to convert, all youhave to do is to change the display to "character" if for example viewed in VAT (see attached example). Chilly_Garfield Posts: 316 Rating: (37)	Hi, when you want to convert a ASCII number into an INT value you can do this with an easy methode: INT_VALUE:=BYTE_TO_INT(ASCII)-48; Attention with the ASCII-Value!!! Check the value of plausibility. Did I understand your problem?
