Hello Edison; The C7-626 is an older model of C7, but even the newer models are discontinued at this time. But a lot of information is still available on the Product Support site, including these manuals: - C7-626 / C7-626 DP Control Systems, Volume 1: Installation, Assembly, Wiring - C7-626 / C7-626 DP Control Systems, Volume 2: Working with C7 - Supplement to Manual Package C7-623/624 (MLFB 6ES 623-1AE00-8BA0) and C7-626/626 DP (MLFB 6ES7 626-1AG00-8BA0) Product support page on theC7-626/DP: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6677783 To program the CPU side with step 7 you would need (from the Volume 1 manual) either: · Programming device cable 6ES7 901-0BF00-0AA0 (for connecting the C7 to the programming device, ex, a PG with an integrated MPI interface) · PC/MPI cable, 5 m 6ES7 901-2BF00-0AA0 (between a PC COM port and the C7 unit) Here is a modern option to the last cable: USB-PC Adapter: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/14692974 To program the OP side with the Protool project (from the Volume 2 manual): · Serial cable (PG-C7) 6XV 1440-2K... You need serial cable 6XV1440-2KH32, a 3,2 m.null-modem RS-232 9-pin to 15-pin cable (now discontinued) but you will find a connections diagram in Umencho’s reply in this post (in German) so you can build one yourself: Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
