Dear Belvmen, Thanx for the question. I am also facing such aproblem in one of the my project,in which the distance between Drive(G120,CU240E‐2 DP E‐TYPE) and Motor is more than 800 meter.Hence we ask to the siemens vendor as well expert too.Unfortunately this is not possible with siemens drive(sinewave filter / output choke)(note more than 325 meter). But reference of another german based company(SCHAFFNER) which have made such a sine wave filter to use upto 2000meter length. So we are finaly going through this (SCHAFFNER) make. For more detail please find the attachement for the same. AttachmentSchaffner Output Filter.pdf (986 Downloads) |

dear sir I am also facing this problem my details are as below
SYSTEM: CU: 240E-2 DP Ver. A04-4.60 PM: 240 Version J FAULT: F30002 (DC LINK OVERVOLTAGE) APPLICATION: PUMP VFD TO MOTOR DISTANCE: 750+ Meter OUTPUT SINEWAVE FILTER: 1 Nos SCHAFFNER: Nominal OP Voltage 3*500VAC; Motor freq 0 to 70 Hz Rated current 4.5 to 2000 Amps Max Cable length: up to 2000 Meter PROBLEM: We have done commissioning total 26 Nos of VFD (37Kw*18No);(30Kw*8Nos); Here total 6 Nos of VFD are tripping on dc link overvoltage immediately when on command is given; all the VFDs are of same application and parameterization is same for all of them; other VFDs are working fine but only these 6 VFDs are tripping. TRIALS TAKEN: To rule out possibility of faulty output filter or motor and power cables we have interchanged the working VFDs with this tripping VFDs; here no tripping was observed Changed Control Units of working VFDs with Tripping VFDs, still VFDs were tripping. OBSERVATION: During trials we have observed that when the supply voltage is around 390V drives are not tripping; setting in P210 (Input supply voltage) =400V; tripping occurs when the supply voltage is 400-410V(P210=400V). Trial taken with same value set as supply voltage in p210 i.e. if supply voltage is 410 set p210=410 after this setting also tripping is present. Attachmentdetails.pdf (778 Downloads) |
