Nelliyan randy Posts: 461 Rating: (29)	Hi all, In my project , I have a Gas tank with 2 opening & they will fill the tank with water first through valve 1 & then they close valvve 1 & through valve 2 they will apply presssure to check any leak in the system, by means of checking the pressure that is maintained in the tank..If leak then pressure indicateor will tell there s leak... All done now the issue i am facing s some times the operator is not closing the water inlet valve properly so that water gets leak ,, so it leads to product fail,, so my customer wants to check whether the valve has been properly closed , then only he can start the cycle So i was supposed to suggest a mechanism for this , i thought of using sensors but it was not that reliable as far as i tested... Any ideas would be helpfull for me.. That valve was thread type closer .. Dia - 8. SUMMARY : NO SPACE BETWEEN THE CLOSER & THREAD IN THE VALVE..HOW TO CHECK THIS??? Regards, Nelliyan.G

Nelliyan randy Posts: 461 Rating: (29)	Thanks all, some how i managed this by placing a photoelectric sensor by using a fixed test bed like a jig ,,,so that the operator cant move the tank once placed in test bed. So that if the thread wasnt threaded completely i will get a signal... this s working some how Perhaps i should have tried Marcjan idea before trying this .. Regards, Nelliyan.G
