Hi Carlos, I think it is not possible, because the signal frequency ist to high! The way to measure the RMS was to measure/detect the maximum(s) and the minimum(s) oft your signal without sign (= peak value). If you know the geometrie of the signal then you can calculate or find at tables the factor to calculate the RMS with the peak value. Tto detekt the peak value you must have a measuring rate witch is high enough in relation of the 60 Hz. But the LOGO!-circuit get analoge values with al 300 ms (inputs at the basic modules) or 50 ms (inputs at the add-on modules). Best regards Betel |

Hi Carlos, I am verry sorry, but that is not correkt - please look into the handbook again, then you can find: LOGO! 12/24 basic modules have two (0BA5) or four (0BA6) digital (0/1)high speed counter inputs with 2 kHz (0BA5) or 5 kHz (0BA6) frequency -but only for digital signals (or signals witch have the correct levels)! And the input levels for a high-signal is minimum at 8,5 V - you have only 8 V. At the other side the 12/24 basic modules have two (0BA5) or four (0BA6) analoge inputs witch have the propertyies i have named before -and this analoge inputs you need to measure the peak level to calculate RMS. So, whatyou want is not possible! If the frequency of the analoge signals is (verry) low, you can find the following circuits to work: - to get/memory the minimum and the maximum of a signal until you clear it (DEMO_2_Min_Max_Wertbestimmung_analoger Werte.lsc) - to analyze the lokal maximum (and with smal changes the local minimum too) use the next circuit (DEMO_Max_WertAnalyse_V01.lsc). The Q1 is "ON" as a pulse, if the signal leave the local maximum. - look at "increasing values" to detect the direction of the change of an analoge signal version ..V4 is the end solution. You can use voltage transmitter , ac voltage to 4-20ma. |
