Calibration of Absolute Encoder

I have a Sinamics S120 (CU320 PN) Control Unit and it is connected to a SLM and a single motor module. My Synchronus motor is having a absolute encode. Every time i want to calbrate my encoder, i go to the Calibration option in the Starter/Scout Software (Homing tab in the basic positioner menu) and do it. Is there anyway i can do this without starter/scout software ?? Is it possible ?
