I use Global defenition for that and several scripts.

1) Create a batton "Close" at the FP and a tag interface with the same name, bool;

2) Create empty array  for FP instance in Global definition (const faceplates = [];);

3) Script for a batton what calls the FP:

const closingTag = 'CloseTags';

Tags (closingTag).Write(0);

if (!faceplates[0]) {

const data = {Belt_UDT:{Tag:"UDT_BeltConveyorFull"},Close:{Tag:closingTag}};

faceplates[0] =  UI.OpenFaceplateInPopup("Belt", "title", data);

faceplates[0].Left = 350;

faceplates[0].Top = 100;

faceplates[0].WindowFlags = 0;

};

Where Belt_UDT:{Tag:"UDT_BeltConveyorFull"},Close:{Tag:closingTag} - your tags interface

4) At properties of the batton, for example, AlternateBackColor set "Script", and write command: return Tags('CloseTags').Read();

Where CloseTags is internal tag in HMI. 

And at AlternateBackColor-> Change:

if (value == 1) {

faceplates[0].Visible = false;

delete faceplates[0];

};

5) At the batton "Close" of your FP set command:

let tag1 = Tags("Close");

tag1.Write(1);

 This method seems to work when you're calling a faceplate from a screen, but I can't get it working when I call a faceplate from another faceplate. Anybody knows the way to do this? Thakns

Split from FaceplateInPopup script problem .

This method approuch at both times, but if you call FP from FP you should use PLC tag for button "Close" on the second FP.
