Hello Tagolover; I do not know that the CP 341 can be used as 2 units, one per CPU rack, and still maintain redundancy., as you are tryiong to implement it. The following FAQ may give you a hint as to how Siemens recommends you use a CP 341 in a redundant system: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/42614519 As you can see in the bottom of the list profided in the FAQ, the CP 341 is shown as part of a redundant ET 200M system. By inserting a CP 341 as part of the redundant ET 200M (2 numberIM 153-2 with active backplane), a redundant connection between the masters (active and standby) and the modules of the slave are maintained at all times through Profibus-DP. You will not have the changever behaviour that you saw when using 2 different CP 341 in your project. Follow the following discussion on the subject on the forum: /tf/WW/en/Posts/3426 Hope this helps, |
