Calling SFC1 to get date/time but no data returned

RETVAL remains 0 and the 8 byte DateTime remains empty as well.... The parameters are Temp values within an STL function. Any thoughts???

I know how to interprete the data format: However, the call doesn't seem to return any data. Everything remains zeroes... Could it be an issue that the call is the first statement in the block??? I pass 2 temp vars and try to copy the data to a DB.. All other data in the DB copies fine.. so no issue there... I do this: CALL "READ_CLK" RET_VAL:= MW158 CDT:=#DENT // located at temp addres 2.0 After the call I transfer the 8 bytes starting from LW 2.0 a datablock adressed with AR1. But is is always zero... L LW 2 T dbw [AR1, P#0.0] L LW 4 T dbw [AR1, P#2.0] L LW 6 T dbw [AR1, P#4.0] L LW 8 T dbw [AR1, P#6.0]

I can seems to get a valid response from sfc1. Seems stupid since there are no options there to screw up... So it may be in my hardware config.... Hans

After getting the Date and Time via OB1, I found out that I actually did get the date and time in my DB, but the inspector did not show it in Trace mod. Using compare/on line off line versiosn I could see the correct data...

But could you explain what you mean by the "inspector did not show it in Trace mod"? When you monitor a block in Step 7 you should be looking at the online data, no? Regards, Daniel Chartier

It´s not possible to monitor the DT variable in DB, an information message is showed (please see the file attached). WhatI have to do, any suggestion ? PS: I am using one CPU 314-2DP.
