Camera feed in HMI

Parkvi_Ravi Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am very new to this Automation world. In my application, I want to stream webcam feed to my HMI. I can use Siemens TIA V14-V18, WinCC Advanced V14-V18 and IPC 477D. I searched a lot, which camera is compatible, but there is lots of confusion. Does anyone know which camera can go with this system? Thanks! -Ravi

dchartier Grandmaster Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 4/19/2025 Posts: 12346 Rating: (2710)	Hello Parki Ravi; Look at the following link, it opens a page in the WinCC Advanced v14 manual, "Overview of objects, Panels, RT Advanced": https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109742297/76950557579 If you go to the Controls section, you will find a Camera View object, which is active on Comfort panels, but not in RT Advanced v14 unfortunately. Camera view has been introduced in WinCC RT Advanced v16, however. This page of the Step 7 v16 and WinCC v16 shows a variety of cameras that are recommended with RT Advanced v16: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109773506/125067434123 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
