Can CP5614A2(6GK1561-4AA01) replace CP5614(6GK1561-4AA00)?

I've read document that when installCP5612A2 need to install Simatic Net CD. and I know Simatic Net also need license. So if CP5614A2 can replace CP5614,what details I should pay more attention to intall CP5612A2? It's very appreciateif you can reply me immediately.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, do not worry, the CP 5614 A2 is an easy to handle Card, if you read the documentation about the CP 5613A2 carefully you will find the information you look for: Notice The communications processors CP 5613 A2 and CP 5614 A2 are supported as ofversion CD 11/2003 (V6.2) of the SIMATIC NET product CD or Developer Kit V3.1. See Page 36 in the Manual: Product Information/ Installation Instructions CP 5613A2 und CP 5614A2 If you replace the CP 5614 with a CP 5614 A2 and you have SIMATIC NET of version 6.2 or above running on your System you do not have to worry at all.
