Can HMI screens be loaded from SD card without using PG

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 1/15/2025 Posts: 14564 Rating: (1814)	Hello RaiMahi Im Sorry You cannot make a transfer of the Panel using a SD Card. There is a possibility when you have a second TP900 you can transfer the Runtime Data in the normal way to the Panel and make a Backup to SD Card and then you can use the SD Card to make a Restore at the the Panel you want to transfer. You can also generate the Project and copy the *.fwx Data in your project over the Explorer in the Flash/Simatic folder in the panel and rename it into PDATA.fwx Third way is to use Pack&Go. Doing a backup generate a filewith the extension *.psb. It is not possible to generate a .psb file with TIA, put it on a SD card and restore from it. Now, with TIA V14 (not earlier versions), it is completly different. You are able to transfer your project on a USB stick or a SD card and use the new "project transfer" tab in the control panel of your HMI to transfer the project. How with the TIA Portal do you transfer your project to your operator panel via a storage medium (USB stick, for example)? Best regards, Hugo
