CAN I CHANG THE NAME OF TAG WITHOUT DELETING THAT TAG?

Jeebs Posts: 218 Rating: (28)	Hi, Sure you can: In WinCCExplorer go to the list of tags. Select your tag, wait 1 sec and click it again. Same way you can change file-names in Windows Explorer. Just remember to reselect the tag everywhere it is used, since WinCC doesn't update the name where it is used. It will still point to the previous name which will now be invalid. Greets Jeebs

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, As Jeebs said, you can change the name... Alarm Logging assumes the changes automatically, but at least till v6.0 Tag Logging doesn't... So for those you have to change manually... and of course, on your screen objects and triggers... Best regards, Danielle
