Can I connect FO port of OSM ITP62-LD to FO port of Media Converter X101-1LD

I have a requirement of collecting 6 digital inputs and displaying it's data on a PC located 5 km away.Kindly go through attached configuration. OSM is named as compact module in the diagram. I am also supposed collect information from Power Quality Meter via OSM. For this I have selected OSM ITP62-LD, I am going to use single mode FO ethernet card on these PCs located 5 km away. My question is whether I can connect SM FO port of ITP62-LD directly to SM FO ethernet card in PC located 5 km away. I am asking this because after going throgh topologies mentioned in the OSM/ESM network management user manual I could not find the attached configuration.
