Can i consider that CPU 315 2PN/DP is compatible with software redundancy cp port?

Can i consider that CPU 315 2PN/DP is compatible with software redundancy cp port as attachment?OB100--Fc100 give meerror code "8008". I can't find where is error.

Hello ElectricEngineer I'm afraid to say that usage of a CP342-5 as external DP Master is NOT (yet at least) supported for a Software redundant system (latest list of supported modules can be found HERE). The issue with the CP342-5 is also that you would need to use DP_Send and DP_Recv for the I/O interafce and the standard software redundancy blocks are simply not cut out for this task). Your only choice is touse the onboard DP portof your315-2PN/DP and you have already proved that it works that way too. |

This configuration is my redundancy test configuration.iuseintegrated dp port of cpu in my main project for other purpose. for this, itried to carry outdp port ofCP interface for master system. but, in this caseitdoes NOT seem possible.In this case, ihave to change my configuration of main project :(( regards... |
