Can I find "cross-cutter" code for s7-1500? If not, is there a posibility to get through with migration? Is it better to try writting code from the beggining or migration option in TIA could handle it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello, there is a cross cutter application for SINAMICS S120 (calculated in DCC directly inside the drive). Additionally there is a function block (LMCSINA library) for SIMATIC S7-1x00 to control this drive functionality from your PLC side. Here the link to the application: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109477746 If you don't have a SINAMICS S120 available, you will need a SIMOTION controller or I guess a S7-1500T to calculate the cams. For SIMOTION there is also an application available. For S7-1500T up to now there is no ready-to-use application, but I guess in the future there will be released one. |
With best regards, |
