Can I install IM153-4PN (6ES7153-4AA01-0XB0) on S7-300 rail (6ES7390-1AF30-0AA0) and

Can I connect this IM153-4 with other S7-300 signal modules by Connector (6ES7390-0AA00-0AA0) on this rail?

Hi Dear,

I buy ET200M-PN(IM153-4PN (6ES7153-4AA01-0XB0)), RAIL 530MM (6ES7390-1AF30-0AA0), 3 BUS Connectors (6ES7390-0AA00-0AA0) and 4 S7-300 signal module (DI,DO,AI,AO).

Can i install IM153-4PN and signal modules on this rail ? and connect IM,DI, DO, AI, AO with these BUS Connectors without any problem such as bus fault?

Hi,

the connection is no problem. Each I/O Card should have a busadpater inside so you must not buy extra adapters.

But what you mean with BusFault?

The IM is a IO-Device, here you need a PLC to control the I/O Modules, the Interface modul is only a "gateway" from Profinet to the IO-Modules.
The IM have no own Program logic and cant be programmed!

I design this configuration to collect the field signals by S7-300 SM and send its to S7-400 CPU (S7414/3PNDP) by IM153-4 PN.

But i need to know that i can do this configuration before do it or no?

ok then the IM154 must configured in the project of the S7-400 so that there is a communication between them.

The mounting is no problem, the comnponents which you have listed are correct and should work without any problem.
