Can I replace CPU313C-2DP by CPU315-2DP?

If the counters are used in your program you have to add a countermodule to the 315 CPU, all adresses must be checked. It's not so easy to tell how to do that. Best thing to do for you now is upload your program, so we could have a look at it and give some tips how to change the CPU. Give the complete Siemens number of the 315 too, because ther are a lot of them. Attachment 313.JPG (295 Downloads)

Tienlen Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Marcjan, thank you for your repply, But, when i choose replace CPU from HW of Simatic Manager, I don't see CPU 315-2DP, only CPU 314 C, how I replace CPU 313 C - 2DP -> CPU 315-2DP from HW of SManager ( I used STEP7 5.4). After changing the station, please check all the adresse and profibus settings. Make a backup of your software first, just in case. Hope this helps. Attachment howto.pdf (396 Downloads)

I did a save as (new name) and then i was able to work with the new file. Attached your progam with the new CPU, please check everything carefully, cause i just picked one of the many 315 cpu's.
