Can I use the S7 300 CPU315 as a Slave with new Master 1500 ??

Hello Colleges,

I have a new project and I've wondering to know 3 usses:

1- if it is possible to use the existing PLCS7 300 (CPU315 2 PN/DP) actually using as a Master then connect as a Slave and installed a New 1517F 3 PN-DP as a Master ???

2- also using in the same Back plate ?? I have not to much space to use another back plate !!!

3 - There are some convertible connectors to use the actual wiring in S7-300 to connecto in the new HW for the 1500 ??

First of all many thanks to give me some minutes and answer my questions,

1) At the moment are using 6ES7 315-2EH14-0AB0 V3.2 and is working with an existing profibus network.

2) Well great, I can dismissed that possibility !! many thanks 

3) In order to do that, is basically remove the PS and the PLC and connect maybe new PS and the ET200M-IM with the rest of the existing cards that's correct ?? all this on the TIA new software ...!!

-->> Or my best option it's to change the all HW (no to much space on the panel) ... So, I should wire the DI, DO, etc. to the new cards or It is possible with a connector or additional device to avoid re-wire the all cables ??

Hope this is enough information to give me a nice feedback, What should I do !!??

3) if you buy a CP342-5 and replace the PS + 300CPU, you can use the I/O cards (attached to the simatic 300) as device of 1500. 

(This means that you will need to migrate S7 project to TIA)

Actually I already found another issue if I change the PLC300 to IM (ET 200M) I need to found a GSD file from a third party company to control some equipment's by Profibus in TIA.

Then, as you recommend. I can just communicate both PLC's 300-1517 via Profinet IP and keep the profibus communications on the existing 300.
