In my program i am using example FB from Entry type: Application example, Entry ID: 81367009, Entry date: 07/28/2017 .

The problem is :

When input "connect" of FB "Ftp1X00Cmd"is activated the FTP server response is 230 Logged on and than 200 Type set to I.
The output "status" of block "Ftp1X00Cmd" immediately have status 16#8D11 (Controller connection not connected; data connection cannot be opened) and after 5 seconds 16#8DF1(Timeout of watchdog timer (5s))
In this situation when activate input "execute" nothing happens.

Windows firewall is switched off.

I need help for solving this problem.

can you post a screenshot of the FtpX00Cmd call?

Do you parametrize the parameters correctly?

Which FW of S7-1200 you use? It must be V4.0 or higher..

PLC   6ES7 212-1AE40-0XB0 , FW  V4.2

I am keep trying  with FTP communication.

PLC can establish control connection on port 21 with Filezilla until "200 Type set to I" answer.

Then PLC trying to establish data communication on port 20 but unsuccessful.

If someone  have an idea what is the reason.

The block Ftp1X00Cmd is version migrated from TIA Portal V13 SP1. (

 Is it possible problem with TCON and TIA v14 and FW 4.2 of PLC?
