Can not show the value of a string type register from a s7-300 PLC

I have the same issue, I am using WinCC RT Professional V16 and I can not show the value of a string type register from a s7-300 PLC. Regards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from String data not visible in WinCC - tags are connected to DB.

I looked back at the history and as I can see the last reply from Siemens is that they forwarded the issue to Germany and as I remember it did we not have time to wait for the answer and ended up finding another solution. As I remember did they talk about an update as we weren't the only ones with the problem. Make a service request and they might have an update. If they need a S/R number to find the case if this could help, please contact me again. / Henrik
