Can Replace S5 CPU (6ES5943-7UB11) by 6ES5943-7UB21?

Hero_pro Experienced Member Joined: 12/12/2011 Last visit: 9/17/2024 Posts: 69 Rating: (1)	Dear All, My plant downtime, S5 115U 6ES5943-7UB11 fault. i have one spare part S5 115U 6ES5943-7UB21. can i replace S5 115U 6ES5943-7UB11 by S5 115U 6ES5943-7UB21 with steps. I dont know spare part matched with Old plc? 1. Power down 2. Remove the old CPU from the machine 3. Remove the memory submodule (EPROM) from the old CPU 4. Install the memory submodule (EPROM) into the new CPU 5. Install the new CPU in the machine 6. Perform a Overall Reset (memory clear) Site was downtime now, urgently much appreciate your help!
