Can someone explain the types of data for trigger tag (int, word, uint)

In Configuration of discrete alarms section, types of data for trigger tag are int, word, uint but type of my tag for alarm is bool. I don't understand that. Create your alarms reassembling the bools in your PLC. Use the word tag in the field 'Trigger tag' and adjust 'Trigger bit' in accordance with your mapping. naseemk123 MrBin Thanks Ste39!
