Can't connect sm@rtserver with browser

Hi to all

i'm tryng to connect with sm@rtserver on a KP400 comfort; if i use the "sm@rtclient" software i can connect without problem.

But if i try to use ANY web browser,when i put IP address+port i have only a white screen without any VNC autentication (like in the video below at 2.00)

i tryed with opera,firefox, explorer on different pc's  but is not working.

any idea?

Maybe The screen resolution

Did you load the licence on the panel?

Did you start the server?

How you try to connect to the panel using PG? across Switch?

Did you try to use the ping command in order to check if it's possible to reach the host.

Make sure the port is not stuck by firewall or antiVirus protection

Hello cerveletto,

System Manual, 109755202: 

Communication between WebClient and Sm@rtServer

Java is no longer supported by future browser versions.

In these cases, use the following alternatives as Sm@rtClient:

● Sm@rtClient.exe

● Sm@rtClient app for smartphones

So either you can activate Java in one of your browsers or you have to work with the client.

 Firefox no longer support Java but Opera and Explorer does...they are active but still don't work

Exactly I have the same problem in Internet Explorer. I think the VNC cannot retrieve the Thumbprint form the Smart server Certificate. Any help to solve this will be a big help for me as well.

How did you end up solving the problem ?

 What hardware do you have, and what is your problem?

There are several threads on this forum, about Smartserver. By using the forum search, you can find more detail, hot to use the functionality with a browser, and what you need to do, to get it working. Not all browsers work with Smartserver!

SmartClient works, did you try it?
