I done it , with the help of link given by you before one year at the time of commissioning.

But, now further one problem has arise now , when i had to format my PC due to OS crashed.

 After format my PC i had to install WinCC Advanced Runtime V12 only, i installed it and activate Runtime Backup.Plant is running .

But, Due to PC format SQL Server 2008 have to install further, also.

But after installing SQL Server 2008 i can not connect with wincc server because i don't find "PC-NAME\\WINCCPlus" Server name in dialogue box in SQL Server management studio.

Not only that , but i don't find any others of server name.

Before Format PC , I had done Database creation in SQL server and as well as define Database name in with same name defined in SQL As per link guidance. and all was well, But issue raised after format PC.

help me. it's urgent.

Hi,

why have you installed WinCC RT Advanced and not RT Professional? RT Professional needs SQL.

The PC-Station Name must be the same as before.

 Hello,

I am using winCC advanced v12 sp1, and now it is okay.

My connection is healthy now, and can dumb my archive data into SQL server 2008.
